how does architecture relate to the built environment?
I would like to know what you think answers of this question could be. in what ways do you think that architecture relates to the built environment? Like any different suggestions would be helpful!

- in everyway it does
- architects bascially design what the building looks like. sometimes they try to blend it into the environment around the building and other times they dont. Then an engr has to take those plans and make them actually work. So basically architecture is just showmanship.
- architecture is part of built environment. all the building u see around you carries the architecture signature. yes, u can have engineers to design buildings, but they'll be only too happy to be interested in the calculations. architect on the other hand, merge the science of construction with the art of aesthetics. it is part of the larger circle of life. as built environment is part of architecture as much as architecture is part of built environment, u cannot help but to find it intermingled between town planning, architecture, engineering, quantity surveying and other discipline that together compliment each other. all the built environment around us reflects back to us what we are.
