Landscape Architecture Internship Abroad?
Are there any landscape architects or students of the profession who have gone abroad during their years of studies and worked as an intern in a foreign firm? How difficult is it to get to that point? What year students are they most likely to accept? Is it essential to be fluent in their language? What credentials would put you over the top of an easier to hire local student?

- My school does a lot of out of country internships. Speaking the language where you are going to work is really important. Usually you go for an internship between Junior and Senior year so that after you work all summer you finish the last year of school and usually return to work for the company you interned with. What will set you apart is motivation. Make contacts and phone calls. Good luck!
