DIY Home Architecture?
What is a really good program for home designing/landscaping? Can people really build their own house from the architectural designs created by these kind of programs?

- You will spend hours trying to figure out how the program works then take it to a builder or architect and they will have to re-draw it. My advise is to tear out pictures from magazines of things you like: windows, floor colors, openness, etc. put them into a folder with a description of what you like and why you like it and hand it to an architect or builder. The architect has gone to school for this kind of thing and the builder has built dozens of houses and usually has stock plans to start from. Don't waste money trying to do it yourself.
