At this point, how do I get started with a career in architecture?

I'm a Junior at UC Davis majoring in Biological Sciences, but what I really want to do is architecture. I learned that the landscape architecture program requires too many number of units that I can't surpass. I also don't know if I can transfer schools at this point. What do i do? Most transfers are only accepted at the Junior level, which I am about to begin.

  1. You should be able to transfer... you will probably spend a little more time in school, you wont graduate in the typical 4 years... but I would think its worth it to spend a few more years in school so that you can have a career that you WANT. I had a friend in college that changed her major so much she was going nowhere, well, she still graduated in 4 years but she has a bull crap degree that she wants to do nothing with... so it was a waste of money and time... i'm sure you can transfer... go for what you want
