What are some Great European pieces of Modern Architecture?

I am studying in Paris, France for 1 year as a senior architecture student. I will surely travel around France and other European countries, but I would really like specifically to see great pieces of architecture, both modern and classical, but more importantly MODERN!!!

  1. The Pei pyramid in the Louvre. The Jewish Museum, Holocaust Memorial, and Reichstag in Berlin. Downtown Frankfurt (a textbook in the development of the 20th century skyscraper). I don't know how modern, but the Gaudi buildings in Spain probably qualify.
  2. There are so many, Europe being a big region in itself, but my absolute no. 1 is Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Basque country! It's a must for everyone, especially a senior architecture student, which is just a great thing to be, btw... http://www.guggenheim-bilbao.es/ingles/home.htm
